Base Salon is a luxury hair salon in the West Loop that’s anything but bougie. Owner Krysta Rojas sharpened her shears in the top Chicago salons before opening up her own salon in January of 2016.

Located in the heart of Chicago’s hippest neighborhood on Morgan Street, BASE has redefined the hair salon experience with an intimate six styling stations model inside a glamorous 925-square foot space that was custom designed by Studio West (think chic art installations, chocolate woodwork, intricate wainscoting and gold accents galore).

Here, BASE turns guests into brand devotees by always being trend forward when it comes to hairstyles, colors and cuts, treating customers like family and carefully vetting its high trained team of artists to stay on the cutting edge.

Hiring: Associates $20/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Learn:1-1 daily hands on education with senior stylist.

  • Blowouts, all over color, foiling and more

  • Product Knowledge

  • Guest Handling

  • Learn to be a top stylist, helping Base maintain its reputation as Chicago’s best salon.
